I’ve got both, every year I say I’m having the Aruncus out, huge great thing, then it starts growing and I feel sorry for it. I did take the pink one out. The Meadowsweet however, my favourite smelling flower can’t wait for it to bloom.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Aruncus dioicus is a huge plant by comparison...note long tassels of flowers.
Both plants are similar in that they love wet ground.
