Something’s eating my Hosta

Hi Guys, can anybody help with what’s eating my Hosta and how I can stop it please?

    Slugs !!!! You need to use all forms of defence !!! Evening collections of the beasts works well

    Or snails. Look between the container and the wall
    In London. Keen but lazy.
