Moving Hostas in summer

Hi all,

I planted these Hostas last year in a spot that gets no sun at all at the front of the house. At the time of planting we had a seating area there as the back garden was a mess but since moving everything to the back garden this year that front area has been a bit neglected, as you can see from the terrible state of the plants.

I want to move the Hostas to a new bed at the back where it'll get partial sun (midday to 3pm so blazing overhead). Will it be too stressful for them to be moved at the moment?

Thanks all.
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

Make sure the ground is well watered where they are now, and where they're moving to. They'll be fine.
