    Hello Victoria and welcome to the forum. I think that is a type of Spiraea called Spiraea douglasii.

    IMHO a nasty invasive weed.
    It sends out running roots and never seems to know when to stop.

    You don't want it. boring for months . Two weeks max of flowers. Then dead flowers. for as long as you can stand them. Repeat....

  • Thank you for your honest replies.  Fortunately it can't go very far as it is hemmed in by a boundary path.  It is used with honeysuckle as screening from next door.  For all its faults, it easy on the eye.  V.
