Anthony (Shrub Rose) - Peter Beales

I have a 3-year-old Shrub Rose and it is in the wrong position. To maximise its potential, I am planning to move it after this season.

Now, GW have stated on their website that autumn is a good time to move a Rose (https://www.gardenersworld.com/how-to/grow-plants/how-to-look-after-roses-in-autumn/) but the RHS suggest waiting until winter.

So, the choices are below. What are your opinions and would you move in autumn or winter?

Thanks guys

...no need for a poll... move it any time from mid October to mid March... at a time suitable for you and your soil conditions..

September is too soon. Wait for it to lose most of its leaves, which is usually in late October/early November, depending on your conditions.
