Help with identification please

Good morning, could somebody please tell me what plant this is? I purchased it nearly dead from the 50p clearance box at my local flower shop about 4 years ago and it has thrived. I get lots of people asking what it is so it would be great to be able to tell them. Many thanks Marie.

It looks like a Pelargonium. There are 000's of varieties but their care is pretty much the same regardless of variety.
That's a good investment of 50p if ever I saw one, it's lovely!

It’s what is called a Regal pelargonium.

Thank you Pete.8 and Asarum. I took 3 cuttings from it a little over a week ago and they have already all rooted so I will be able to give them as named gifts now. Thank you.
