Black Currant flowering, but little fruit
in Fruit & veg
My black currant bush had tons of flowers this year, lots per stem (like red currants), but most of the flowers didn't turn into fruit and I've left with 1-2 fruit per stem. It's the same result as in the previous years - I just never noticed the abundance of flowers.
There are many successful redcurrants nearby, so lack of pollinators shouldn't be a problem.
Any ideas what this could be? Or is this normal?
Thanks,
Andrea
