Gardening on massive slab of concrete?

I like the rock (?) that's there, you could make a lovely feature out of it. Is that a pole sticking out of it?

You could always plant big bushes around it to partly screen it off. Lots of things will grow brilliantly in full sun and get to a big size. And like orhers have said, if you do decide to build on it, they can stay. And you could get nice smelling climbers like honeysuckle and roses over a pergola.

Thank you all for all the amazing suggestions, I totally see the slab in a new light now, so many opportunities to make it nice. I love the idea of adding decking, that could be a good look. And yes, there's a rock next to it with a flagpole on top 😊

Depending on where the actual slab is in your garden you could consider making it a 'work' area.
You have a perfect base for shed, greenhouse etc.Somewhere to store bags of compost, pots and whatever.
It could be screened off so you don't see all the mess  :)
