that is glorious @purplerallim !! Yes I think I do overwater a little and also some of them are struggling for light at the moment .....all a big learning curve....they make me so happy though currently have a plant graveyard in the window of my sunniest window and am pleased to see some new shoots coming up..mostly calatheas that have died but I understand they are notoriously difficult so I'm taking comfort in that.
Well with Calatheas they don't like direct light, just brightness, so maybe the windowsill is too bright ( unless it's north facing like my kitchen one) and it's maybe a bit cold for them near the glass. As for watering houseplants less is more, alot of people put them all in the bath with a couple of inches of water, leave an hour , empty water, leave to drain and them put them back in place. I think as long as they aren't sitting in water ( after I put water in the bottom, if it's still there after a couple of hours it gets poured away) they seem to do ok. 😁
