Found this growing in the side alley. There are patches of campanula growing down there and I thought it was that, but then noticed the leaves are different and then I thought it was a clematis, but the flower looks like campanula... it’s over a meter tall.
thanks

I'm wondering if, looking at the 4th photo, you have a clematis which has twined itself round a shoot of the campanula?  If you follow the stem back from the flower, is it encircled by a clematis leaf at some point?  If so, I'd expect the campanula flower to wilt very soon - unless it's cheekily growing through or over the fence behind...

🤣🤣🤣 it was so tightly bound I didn’t realise even though I checked... twice lol! That flower is still alive and yet has been detached for 8 days!!! Wonder where the clematis has come from- probably just a wild one but will see if it flowers I guess!
