Dog safe evergreen plants?

Hi guys, decided to try and be more greenfingered with the lockdown! My back garden is South-east facing with my garage on the side that gets the sun through out the day!
I am struggling to find plants that are suitable for the conditions. my main priority is that they are dog safe as my two yorkies love a nibble on greenery, but i would also prefer them to be evergreen and minimal maintainance so as not to overwhelm myself.
i already have a few ferns and 2 small heathers in the area so would be looking to keep the woodland theme if possible but I am open to any suggestions....

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
Please don't panic about "dog friendly plants"  How many dogs have you heard of coming to harm in a garden form plants? Virtually none I reckon.

I've had a mix of dogs and toxic plants for so many years - no problems.
As you'll know dogs have amazing sense of smell and taste, the toxins in most plants are very bitter and unpalatable so they know to leave well alone.
My dog munches on bits of lawn, ornamental grasses (grrrr) and there are never any runner beans below 3ft

I now have visions of @t@thomasclark3003's yorkies with wee step ladders to get up to 3feet
