4 days old sod turning yellow...
Hello everybody
Сontractor installed 5 days ago New sod and Some sections turning yellow..
the First day He installed it i saw already Some “lights” sections, but now is we are yellow.
here is some pictures:
Day of installation:

Today:

I did research what causing this issue and i found many different answers. Overwatering, old sod etc.. So I’m hoping that here I will find the right answer..
What causing this issue and how to help the sod to survive please? I do water the sod every morning 6am and 8pm for 20-30min.
My yard is clay so the contractor added 5in of new clean dirt all over before he lay the sod...
Thank you so much !

20 - 30 minutes twice a day isn't enough. At least an hour, or two - best done in the evening - is required.
Doing it in the evening means it's less likely to evaporate quickly, but if temps are lower in the morning, do it then.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Whereabouts are you? That doesn't look like UK style housing somehow.
In my part of the UK I would not have turf laid between June and the end of August. It can get so hot and dry that it's very difficult to water new turf enough to get it established. Other areas around the world would be even more difficult
Spring and autumn are the best time to lay turf.
Shame the OP hasn't got back to us. I consider it slightly rude not to look in and say thank you when people have taken the time to write a response - and there's been a few newbies doing that recently.
Or maybe I'm just feeling a tad tetchy after working in the heat this pm.... 29C in the shade at the moment and forecast to get hotter over the next couple of days. I may need ice cubes soon...
