Can I have your suggestions for anything I could get to remember my gorgeous Jinx please? It's devastated me losing him and my youngest has taken it especially hard so would love something in the garden

That is beautiful and something that definitely suits my taste too but after a good google I can't find any anywhere in the UK  :(

Sorry about your cat. If you can't find the iris perhaps a flower with the colour of Jinx fur or eyes?

He was a black cat. I've got no problems with a black plant at all, it would fit in nicely but not sure what although I'll keep looking. Only other idea I have so far is a remembrance rose

What about a nepeta or something similar? Did s/he have a favourite plant to lounge under? Our cat loved to sleep under an Acer so when she passed away we tucked her in the pot. It's now Calina's Acer.

That said we do have two roald Dahl roses for our two previous cats. Not a rememberance rose per se, but they are next to our front door in planters so we always walk past them.

Also, I'm really sorry for your loss.

    Oh, that is sad...
Pets do leave such a big hole when they go.
I love the nepeta idea. Did he like catmint?

    How about a shrub....Male cat..Tom.

Pittosporum Tom Thumb...green at time other time rich dark chocolate glossy leaves.  Readily available in garden centres.

    Quote...
"Details 'Tom Thumb' is a dense, slow-growing small evergreen shrub of rounded habit, with deep purple, undulate leaves contrasting with light green young growth; not free-flowering."

Might last longer than Nepeta/or Iris.

I am sorry you've lost your cat, it's such a sad time.  Our beloved cat was black and white, so I planted a small rose called 'Little White Pet', unfortunately not quite appropriate for yours. We placed his casket under it.

On a quick internet search I found these other roses, 'Sweet Memories', pale yellow, 'Loving Memory' and 'Thinking of You', both classic red HT roses. There were others as well.
    Hope you find something suitable.

When my beloved cat Kiri died just before we moved, I saved her ashes and brought them with me.  I scattered some of her ashes into the planting hole (along with compost etc) and I now have the most glorious "For Your Eyes Only".
I would suggest that, rather than trying match the name to the plant, you select a plant that you love and make that your memorial.  It's worked for me, and as I look out of the French doors, wide open in the heat, I can see and appreciate the wonderful flowers.  And, of course, remember my beautiful Kiri.
