Agree with Palustris. Triteleia laxa...a bulb with wiry stems and dainty small flowers.

Platycodon has the common name Balloon flower...flowers different

    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .

Another vote for Triteliea laxa.  I love it.

Thank you for your help but can I just check:

Chrysanthem (possibly) - as this is just a small leafy plant with no buds, is this their normal stage in June?

Bellies daisies - as you can see they are not doing too well (I have another’s one too which has mixed colours with some dark red amongst them and this has practically died) despite watering virtually every day.  Is it possible they are struggling with the hot sun that we have had lately and we are on the South coast too where it has been quite warm for several weeks with just the odd few wet/cloudy days?

Triteliea laxa - could this be one of my many Brodiaea bulbs which I planted last year and has popped up this year?
