This is going to be fun. Some guesses involved and the categories can overlap sometimes or be what you want them to be.
    1) Climber, rambler or large shrub. Prune to fit the space.
    2) Climber, needs retraining and some TLC. And yes, it could be 'Rhapsody in Blue'.
    3) Climber, needs retraining and a lot of TLC.
    4) Hybrid tea, maybe floribunda, maybe 'Blue Moon' or something similar.
    5) Climber or very large shrub, I am not sure what to do if it is in a bad position.
    6) Hard to see. Shrub or climber. The red stamens combined with the colour should make it relatively easy to ID it but I am not able to do it with these photos.
    7) Hybrid tea, probably. Or a very upright shrub.
    8) Climber. Reminds me 'Phylis Bide' somehow but I don't really know.
    9) Climber. Would you say it's thorny?
    10) Hybrid tea probably.

    Hi edhelka

Thanks so much for your response.

    1.  My no 9 from memory is not that thorny.  Certainly not like no 2!  That bad boy hurts :-)

    2.  When you say re-train and TLC for 2 & 3 I wish you were my neighbour as re-train how and TLC? mulch and water and food do you mean?

    Thanks

    1. I would go with 'New Dawn' for no. 9, without seeing the foliage and buds well.
    2. Yes, water (regularly), food (liquid now and some additional slow release later). Removing weeds and mulching would also help.
Regarding training, you want to have the canes as much horizontal as possible. Between horizontal and 45° angle. This will force buds on the canes to grow and produce lateral flowering growth along the canes. Without it, the roses will flower on top only. You can do this now (for no. 2 and 3) and together with the feeding and watering, you should see new growth and a second flush of flowers in 2-3 weeks.
For all climbers and big shrubs, you can do some retraining now but it's easier to do it in winter when you can see the structure. You can cut obviously dead wood now and if you feel that some of the large shrubs/climbers are a bit too congested, you can also remove some canes to get better airflow and let more light in.

Thanks edhelka for all your kind advice.  I shall get on with the TLC and give retraining a go in winter.  I'm just nervous that I'll cut too much of and kill them.  Only one way to find out I guess.
