Hello, I have recently purchased a cherry bush called “Athos”. When it arrived i discovered that the leaves were covered with what looks like a white rash.Does anybody know what it is and if it is dangerous?
If so how can it be removed?

 asked in the garden centre why a shrub I was looking at had marks (like your photo) I was told it was the deposits from the hard tap water they used. We live in south Hampshire.
