  • Yes I have grown these Cosmos from seed and you’re right - They are a very dull off white. Not at all what I was expecting.
  • PS - I shall be sticking with the lovely pink ones in future.

Yes I'm growing them and yes so far they don't look like flowers on the packet. They look very similar to the lemonade which I grew last year.

Oh dear, Disappointed Face on Google I'm growing these this year, the buds are not quite open yet but I'm not sure I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers now! Ah well, growing anything from seed can be a steep learning curve.

Xanthos is a lovely primrose yellow and grows well.
I would definitely have grown them again this year but I've lost the packet😕

Thank you for the recommendation @B3 I'll make note for next season. I love the white (think one version is called Purity) and deep pink but thought I would try this one as it was a GW seed offer from T&M.

@Ladybird4. They were bushy, drought tolerant when mature and covered in masses of flowers.

They sound perfect @B3. I really like 'yellow' in the garden. They are on the list!

Although Xanthos has a nice soft yellow, the flowers always seem to be puny and no more than the size of a 2p coin. Might be, they don't grow well in windy conditions.
