Olive tree problems?

I've finally got my olive tree with me and I find it's got black stuff over the branches and some leaves. The leaves wipe clean with my fingers. 

Anyway to get rid of that ?

    Sounds as if it’s had some sort of insect infestation which has produced honeydew which in turn has produced a black/sooty mould. 
    I’d wipe it off with a damp cloth. 
    Check the stems and backs of leaves for scale insects.
