Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Once went to look at a house for sale that was on the site of an old quarry. The back garden was essentially a hole and, down one side, it had the longest, steepest playground slide I have ever seen. We didn't try it.
