The only point I'd make is that I've never found the need to give Epsom salts (magnesium) to my roses.
If you give them too much Epsom salts, that can lock out other nutrients which may harm your plant.
Epson salts corrects a problem called chlorosis. So only use it if your roses have that.
I hope someone can help you but as pansy says, most of us are in the UK.

Wish I could be of help. Iโ€™ve grown roses in Mediterranean climates, but not tropical. The humidity will change things but I donโ€™t know how much different it would be in terms of just the general basics. Not sure why you are advised not to grow them in full sun? I did in scorching sun, and they loved it, but again, low humidity...maybe @Nollie might advise?ย

Southern Malaysia is right near the Equatorial line, so roses will tend to grow there with very upright canes with a single bloom on top as the member is experiencing...ย  roses for the cut flower trade for instance, and that includes David Austin bred UK roses for cut flowers, are grown in places like Ecuador and Kenya, right on the equator, as they produce those stiff straight stems perfect for the cut flower industry...ย  David Austin has production facilities in Kenya that I know of where all their cut roses are exported..

In Malaysia, for shrub roses, you might like to explore those bred and grown in India, by Mr Viru Viraraghavan... his roses are especially suited to hot climates...ย
