What’s happening to my cabbages and collys?

Problem with my colliflowers. There has been a fair bit of acid pressure would that have done this to them?

    I've had a big problem with grey aphids on cabbage and Brussels following the recent dry spell although to be fair, I can't see any evidence of them on those leaves but they suck all the moisture out which looks evident there - maybe some other sort of aphid?
