Sorry for the gross picture but it's satisfying to have trapped them!

I put some beer traps out last night with Peroni beer. (It's the only stuff I have in the house right now.) Can anyone recommend a cheaper but effective beer lol also what do I do with these dead slugs? Toss em in the compost bin? Leave out for birds to eat? Don't want to get the birds drunk lol

    Lidl’s cheap lager works. 
    Congratulations on the load, they should die in the liquid, if not you can chop in half with secateurs and put in the compost bin, that way they haven’t died in vain.

    Ah didn't think of Lidl, thanks! I've just bought some Chrysanthemums, never raised them before so not sure if I can keep them alive, but will do my best. From what I've read, slugs love them. Also have grown marigolds from seed not thinking about them being slug bait lol I wanted to have some pretty marigolds but now fearing they will get eaten alive. Maybe I can keep the slug population down with these traps...
