Skimmia Japonica Position?

robin 435robin 435 Posts: 54
Hello
I have a Skimmia Japonica grown from a cutting taken 3 years ago. This year the plant is growing quite quickly so I'd like to plant it in the ground.

Would it do well in a position that gets full sun until mid afternoon? I presume that too much sun will just turn the leaves a lighter green and not do any damage?

Thanks for your advice
Robin

I think it would not thrive in that much sun as it's very strong at midday
