What’s this plant?

This appears in my garden in new places every year. I quite like it, but have no idea what it is, any ideas? It’s about 30” tall, maybe a bit more .

Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

Linaria purpurea, purple toadflax. A lovely annual wildflower.
