Is my cypress conifer dying?

Anyone have any advice? It's just started going brown and I think it might be dying!

Possibly, if it's right in behind that other conifer, and all the other planting.
All competition for water, and they won't care for being dehydrated.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
