Delphiniums

Hi,
I have a fantastic Delphinium Faust.. it currently has 5 enormous 6ft flower spikes but only two of them are showing side shoots.... I am worried that when these fabulous spikes have finished there will be very little- or no further flowers. Is there anything I can do?  Really appreciate any advice 🌸

All you can do is cut the flowered spikes off.  The rest is down to nature, but a liquid feed of tomato fertiliser might help.  Be prompt about removing the dead flower spikes otherwise the plants may think they have set seed and will not give a second flush later in the year.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I take the whole plant back to the ground just as the last side shoot flowers are going over , I then feed sometimes mulch and hope I get another flush in September.
