Brassicas, such as brussel sprouts, cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli etc. Impossible to tell which.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

They look like they have really tall stalks and the leaves are only at the top if that helps. I’ll get a better photo in the morning.

They could possibly be Brassica oleracea var. longata (aka 'Jersey cabbage', walking stick cabbage, amongst many others):
