sugar snaps and tomatoes are very small

hello, 

this is my first year having an allotment which I am thoroughly enjoying.
However, my sugar snaps just don't seem to want to grow anymore. they also rant flowering
my tomatoes seem quite small even tho I have feed them with tomato feed.
any suggestions as to why?

    It’s best not to feed tomatoes until they have their first fruits set. 

    The peas look as if woodpigeons may  have been snacking on them. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Yes, bird damage and probably not just pigeons - I used a trail camera and caught house sparrows (only females) and greenfinches eating mine!  I guess they are after calcium for producing egg shells?  The good news is that mine recovered after I protected them, so yours should do so too. :)
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
