Rose White Meidiland

AllyblueeyesAllyblueeyes Posts: 420

Good afternoon everyone.  I treated myself to a pretty rose today called White Meidiland.  It says on the label it’s suitable for tubs and containers but on googling it, it says it’s a ground cover rose.  I’ve planted it in a big pot but I’m worried it should be in the border.  Does anyone have any experience with this particular rose and where it should go?  Thanks in advance.

...I have not grown this rose, but I know people who do have it..
...it can be grown either way but would be especially suited to growing in a half barrel container... it grows up and out, quite wide spreading and cascades, which is why some say it's suitable for ground cover... but in a container in an elevated position, seems the best way ... the blooms cut well and last a long time in the vase.. it is sparkling white..

...do enjoy your rose.. I've only heard good things about it so far..

@Marlorena.  Thank you so much! I’m so envious of your rose knowledge 😀  I had anticipated digging it up and moving it.  It’s in a big pot so we’ll elevate it and see how we get on.  It’s so pretty.  I’m fast becoming a bit of a rose addict!  Thanks again.
