Tip of tomato broke off

Not too sure how it happened but the tip/top part of my tomato plant broke off. Will it keep going and bear fruit?

    It happens 🙄.

Hopefully your plant will develop a sideshoot
from one of the leaf axils.
Normally you would nip/prune all of these out but in this case I would leave a strong one from near the top and it will take over and become the leading shoot. It’ll put things back a couple of weeks but it’ll be fine.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • I had nipped the side shoots off a few days before this happened. 😫

    It'll grow some more - don't worry  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
