Saw these at Kew today - look like alliums and were the best lookingplants in the border!

    Yes Allium... the seed heads.

    The only mention of Allium I could find in the border description was Allium senescens montanum but these look nothing like what came up in an image search. Does anyone know what these are called?

    They look different because what you saw was the seedheads that follow the flowers.
