Castle in the sky

Seed head of Nectaroscordum siculum. The flowers nod at first, then the spent blooms point to the sky on straightened stalks. First year I've grown them, a fabulous allium so far. Below is a picture of the flowers.

    Some of my favourite bulbs.  They grew very well for me in my Belgian garden but I have yet to find any bulbs on sale round here in autumn.  Might have to order online.
