Hi, every year in late summer, a huge number of wasps descend on our fruit trees and eat most of the fruit. We never get any plums, and very few apples or pears. The trees are too big to cover. I’m told that fake wasps nests don’t really deter them. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.
