Is this a new shoot or a sign of rosette disease

Hi all, novice here! Had to dig up an inherited rose due to an extension. Roots were enormous with no option to replant so I took a cutting and have been nursing it for last 4 weeks. We have had this new shoot appear but it's very red and I'm worried it could be Rosette disease? Or is this just a new shoot and we're doing ok? Would mean a lot for this to succeed and be able to be replanted back into the garden. Any advice.would be amazing

That is very a very healthy-looking new shoot. :) New rose shoots are usually red like that on many, many varieties.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
