Eggs and larvae id

Please can anyone ID these? I deadheaded the rose by mistake and these were on the underside of the leaf. I’ve got the rose in a vase but don’t want to trim off the leaf until I know what these little critters are. I’ve got ladybird larvae in the roses but these don’t look the same? Thanks

Difficult to tell, possibly a type of shield beetle?

Love Shield Bugs ... fascinating creatures.  So many types and so many stages in their lives.

Oh thank you both that’s good to know. I don’t mind shield bugs so the leaf will now go back to the garden.
