Which Lavender and companion plants with box hedge?

I have built a raised bed at the end of my driveway. I have fronted it with a box hedge and have a silver birch 'snow queen' as a centre piece.

Im after your opinions on which lavenders you think would look best? I want something tall enough to be seen above the buxus.

If you have any other planting ideas let me know :)

Its south facing and gets Alot of sun and can get quite dry. Winter structure is also important.

Thanks in advance!

I would stick with English lavender,  either "Hidcote" or "Munstead"  :)
The French type aren't quite so tough.

Yeh your right. I think just sticking with lavender would be best. Now to decide hidcote or munstead ?? Which would you choose?
