Plant Identification

ParksParks Posts: 33
Can anybody identify any of these plants?

Photo 1 just arrived in my garden last year, so cut it back and put into pot.
Photo 2 I've had in my garden for a few years now, I just keep cutting it down. It doesn't  do anything, No flowers
Photo 3 This grass suddenly appeared this year
Thanks

1 looks like willowherb - weed.
2 looks like suckers from tree roots, may be coming from next door, or from a tree no longer in your own garden.
3 is one of the many grasses often used in "prairie" planting, keep if you like it.

I'd agree with all of those. The grass might be more easily IDd once it's  more mature.
Definitely pull out the willow herb. If you let it seed, it'll be everywhere.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Two looks like the dreaded goat willow to me
    In London. Keen but lazy.

the leaves of picture 2 are oval and have a toothed apearance. Having a dig around it looks like it could be a willow
