Wild flower seeds

I have a small bed beneath my kitchen window that I have used to sow wild flower seeds. They have all come up and it is absolutely full. They have grown very tall which is fine but unfortunately they are very bland looking being mostly white/cream coloured with just a few purple thistles.  I mixed several wild flower seed packets and the pictures on them were very colourful so although I am delighted they have germinated I am disappointed in the lack of colour. Has anyone any suggestions re what seed mixes I should use.  Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

Wild flowers are excellent for native species, particularly the caterpillars and such.  If you want color, but also want to attract pollinators.. most open pollination type flowers are fine for them.. they don't need to be native plants.

Every year I grow a pollinator garden from seed.. the packet is marked specific for pollinators, I'm sure there are U.K. versions.  The variety of plant seeds will have types for blooming from spring until fall.. with ever changing colors as new types of flowers appear and others finish.  Things like that light purple flower have been blooming for several weeks.. and the bachelor buttons are just starting.. the cosmos have a while yet.. and the lupins still only have a few leaves and ages to grow.
