Hi all, not sure if in the correct section but can anyone help identify this tree growing in my mother's garden in Manchester from these photos of its seeds/fruit please? TIA. John

Possibly some kind of cherry but strange fruit or seeds?

I think it's probably a plum of some type and suffering from a disease called 'pocket plum.' Here it is on a damson, for example:
