Tomato problem

Hi 
I have received a small tomato plant and it was doing fine and being watered every day, I’ve noticed that the leaves are starting to go brown at the edges and curling up a bit. Any advice please?  I have put some slug pellets down today are they ok for tomatoes? Many thanks Lin

    Re think the location to provide some protection from the weather ? 
    If you think you need slug pellets in the future, 2 or 3 would be sufficient.


    Hi thanks for the information, I’ll try to move it . I’ve got slugs nearby in other pots so thought I’d protect it , I didn’t know how much to put down! It just said sprinkle around the plant.

    That many pellets will tend to attract them, creating a bigger problem. 

    It's quite common for the foliage to curl a bit now and again.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
