Fern problem

Hi hope someone can help
I have a well established fern and for the last few years at the time the frongs turn crispy it's a well shaded area and is watered regularly at the base

    Sorry meant to read at the same time each year 
  • Even in a shady area ferns may sometimes turn a bit 'crispy' in high temperatures if they are not in humid conditions. April and May were exceptionally warm and this may be the reason you have a problem ( possibly the same in past years too ) Misting over them would help to a degree to raise the humidity.

    I will try misting them and see how I go
