Problem solving

I have a 1year old rhododendron.  It has doubled its size since planting in pot. However after watering for the first time wityh tap weater 2 days ago it has wilted and is now dropping its bottom leaves.  What can I do

    Yes I only repotted it in April

    Your tap water could be a factor too, as well as pot size,  but it should also be in a shady site if you haven't got it in one already. They'll dry out very rapidly in a pot. 
    The type of soil you have it in is also important - not just compost, but something soil based  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
