Sickly sycamore

Does anyone have any idea what could be making my friends sycamore leaves shrivel up? The best are really black & shrivelled going along way up. Can see greenfly & black fly in other leaves & some discolouration. Hard to get photos yesterday (these are not very good) as so windy but wanted to ask anyway. It’s an established big tree.

    Mine is dropping leaves too, I think it's been the weather, looks almost autumnal with all the dropped yellow leaves......
