Sagina procumbens common name procumbent pearlwort.... can only tell you that in borders and in paving it is a pain . Even tiny tiny bits grow (from seed) until they have formed large patches. Not easy to remove every tiny weeny bit.
I've been looking through magenta geraniums but still can't identify it. Would I be correct in saying that the leaves are atypical for a geranium? The tallest flowers are approx. 25 to 30 cm btw.:)
Hi Borderline! That definitely looks like a match How did you manage that? Are the leaves not typical for geraniums or am I mistaken? Thanks yet again!
I have not studied Geranium leaves in details. But I have noticed Geranium Sanguineum tend to have a deeper green colour, and the leaves are very dissected and small. Quite distinctive compared to other Geraniums.

2. Geranium sp or named cultivar.

I guess I should remove it from my flower bed but I'm thinking of transplanting it. Your information led me to -https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1024154/has-anyone-got-experience-of-creating-a-moss-lawn
which then led me to -https://www.victoriananursery.co.uk/Heath_Pearlwort_Lawn/
So now I'm thinking of letting it take over a patch of ground at the side of my house. Do you think I'll regret trying that? It seems as though it may be too invasive?
Bye for now
