Verve wilma
in Plants
Hi I have just planted somegoldcrest wilma plants. I have used good compost and watered them every other day. My plants have some white tips on them, dont know what this is. I bought the plants from b and q in small pots. The plants are 50cm high. Why are they going white?

Cupressus macrocarpa Goldcrest Wilma.
........common names Monterey cypress 'Goldcrest'. A conifer tree.https://www.google.com/search?q=Cupressus+macrocarpa+%27Goldcrest+Wilma%27&rlz=1C1CHBF_enGB785GB785&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiXjePkje7pAhVRu3EKHWJ8B0MQ_AUoAXoECBkQAw&biw=1920&bih=937
Make sure that you give it plenty of water. ..when as hot and sunny as it has been recently.
Suspect that the roots may have dried out while in B & Q.
Hopefully it will grow and recover.
B&Q re-labels gardening own label as 'Verve'
B&Q is to re-label all its own brand gardening products under a new 'Verve' label.
Similar idea to Tesco clothes with the label F& F....Fred and Florence.
Or Asda clothing called George.
the new growth looks like it has been dried out...wonder if it's too exposed to the wind which caused it.
Obviously you knew what verve wilma was.
So sorry if my cutting and pasting does not meet with your personal approval.
First...... before giving any advice I feel it is very important to id the plant in question.
Copying and pasting the full name does tend to save on my spelling errors.
Link with pics added to show the plant
I did add...

What is the matter with that?
