Hello,

Please can anyone help, it will be greatly appreciated.

The leaves on my Hydrangea are going purple. I have done some research but it has left me more confused 🤔 Is this a fungal disease if so can i heal the Hydrangea?

    Hi @kirsty.channon89  and welcome  :)

It looks a bit stressed ... too much sun maybe ... a bit thirsty at times perhaps ... or could it be hungry?  what’s the repotting, feeding and watering regime?
Hydrangeas often struggle in containers as they mature ... they are potentially very big plants.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I have never fed it 😌, water it ever day if it hot, otherwise every other day. I re potted it last night and the soil was really damp. It did the same last year?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my newbie question, i have a lot to learn 😳

It won't be happy in that wee pot for long. They aren't really pot specimens, unless you can build a big enough container for them - they have big root systems.
It would be happier in the ground - in some shade  :)

If you can even move it to a shadier spot, it will help it recover.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
