Rose leaves turning yellow

Hello there!

I’m having an absolute nightmare with my roses.

The first is a well established standard rose. I noticed a few days ago that the leaves were starting to droop and were turning yellow - except for around the veins (first image). I gave it some rose and shrub feed pellets about 6 weeks ago (some of which are still visible in the soil).

The second rose is a new carpet rose I planted about 10 days ago. It’s about 2 foot away from the above rose. I put some of the rose and shrub food pellets into the hole when planting. But I just noticed that the leaves at the base are turning yellow - but not in the same way as the above. Here it looks like it’s paler along the veins.

Both get plenty of light through the day. I worry that I might be overwatering but I am trying to reign myself in. It’s just curious that they’re both unwell but in different ways.

Does anyone have any advice? I’ve got a rose in my front garden I’m treating for black spot, so I feel a bit doomed right now!
