Help please to identify plants in garden new to me

karenktekarenkte Posts: 47
I am looking for some help.  I've moved in to a house with cottage style garden and many plants some of which I am struggling to identify.  Can anyone help me with these five plant names.  Thanks in anticipation of any assistance.

Number 4  (purple flowers) is a type of hardy geranium,  there are so many that it's difficult to say which one you have !

3 is a Hypericum which is struggling a bit, I think.

Thank you, all of you, so much.
Do you know what is wrong with the hypericum and what I can maybe do to rectify that.  All the leaves are very yellow coloured.  The garden has been neglected for many years as the property was empty.  Therefore no feed or pest control.  Any suggestions appreciated and thank you again for helping to identify everything.

Try a regular dose of plenty of water and a bit of general plant food for now and then cut it back hard (to 15cm) in March or early April next year and it should grow back strongly and more healthily.

It might be a self-seeded one - some of those are quite 'weedy' with insignificant flowers, but if it looks like it was planted on purpose at some time in the past, it would be worth rejuvenating with the hard prune next Spring.

Picture 2 is Spiraea x Vanhouttei
Picture 4 is Geranium Sanguineum. Maybe Max Frei.
