Hi and I need help

Hi my name is Alan, and I hope I,m doing this correctly as it,s been a while due to moving house, ( twice ) Right! this is my first time growing tomatoes and cucumbers etc, ( in unheated greenhouse) what I would like to know is this, has anyone any info on what tommies are good to grow from seed for salad, at present I have Gardeners Delight ( because that,s what was at the garden center at the time,) just starting to truss I think its called, then Monty said he has them this year too, so so far so good, now the question is, hopefully from inmates experience what are good smaller type tommies for salads that I could try maybe next time and what type of tommies are good for cooking and freezing for winter soups and basis for winter stews type of thing, or even what not to try would help, I also have as a first ever 6 grow bags of Arron Pilot earlies flowering,(again that,s all they had on offer), Right thats it for now Because I dearnt ask to many Qs on my first trip here in years,So is this the right way to ask things as Peppers and chilies and lots more await Over and out,Keep safe ulot and avagooden,Alan

I also tried Sweet Millions, but haven't found them to be so good - poorer germination, although the toms themselves are good.
I know what it's like moving house frequently - hope the new garden is good though!
Sorry- should have said I don't grow any of the big ones, but others do. Don't do tatties either.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I did nothing different with the SMs compared to Sungold- everything identical, compost, sowing time and care etc, but they were definitely much harder to germinate. This year, the first lot I sowed didn't show at all, and the second lot, only one.
I only grow a few as I only have a small greenhouse, and yes - not many in a packet!
Another good, easy tom is Moneymaker. Not a small one, but the fruits aren't too big, so ideal for salads/sandwiches too.
