Unable to edit profile.

Anybody else experiencing this problem.  All I'm trying to do is add my location but when I click 'Save' I get this

Permission Problem

You don't have permission to do that.

    Hmm I've just tried to make a small alteration to my profile, but I get the same message.  I'll alert the Mods.

    I have been trying to do do this for a long time, I gave up in the end when I kept getting the the same message.

    I thought that maybe this problem may have been solved after the forum went into lockdown a little while ago, but it seems not, it still says you don't have permission to do this.

    I've had this issue for ages too, I thought it was just me and it was a 'clear cookies/history/change browser' issue and I didn't want to.

    I'm a member of a few forums which all seem to use the same platform, if that's the right term.  Anyway they all look and feel like this one - and they all have similar problems.  Presumably it's a platform which is cheap and easy to maintain, and that is clearly more important that being user friendly.  Rant over.
